    For years, Jami struggled with poor digestion, weight gain, and hormonal imbalances. At one point, she had eliminated most food groups—and the ones left still caused cramping and bloating. Eating became a game of Russian Roulette: “What will hurt me least?” Each night she went to sleep in discomfort and woke up tired, sore, heavy, and moody.
